Dodge Charger Driver Quotes
Scott Riggs (No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger)
COMMENTS ON QUALIFYING LAP “I don’t know why the lap was so slow. The car is a little bit better than what we had in practice down here a month ago. We know we have more horsepower to the rear wheels. We know that everything we have done since the test, we’ve undone and it’s not made a difference. So it’s just really confusing. I’m proud of all the guys, how hard they’ve worked. I’m proud of how they keep their focus. I’m proud that they’re not pointing fingers at anyone. They just keep working at it. When we find out what’s wrong, we’ll be the first ones to tell everyone or
hopefully, show everyone on the race track. Right now we have to keep working on what we can control and that’s making this car drive good in race trim and make sure we have a good car so we can race our way to the front for the 500.

The roundtable, moderated by ESPN analyst and 1989 NASCAR Cup champion Rusty Wallace, was taped at the Daytona International Speedway Infield Media Center.
