The 2006 season also marked Hornaday’s seventh time in seven full Truck seasons finishing in the championship top-10, making the KHI team the highest-finishing Chevrolet in the 2006 Series point standings. Hornaday has a victory in eight of nine seasons in the Truck Series, and has also earned the prestigious honor of Most Popular Driver (MPD) five times in four of motorsports premier racing
divisions over the past 14 years of his racing career.

VETRAN CREW CHIEF RICK REN JOINS THE KHI TEAM:

Rick Ren, a 32-year NASCAR veteran will team up with two-time Truck Series
champion Ron Hornaday for the 2007 season.  In 2006, Ren led his team to
five wins, 13 top-five and 17 top-ten finishes, and ended the season second
in the point standings. He was also named the 2006 Truck Series WYPALL*
Wipers Crew Chief of the Year.

Hornaday and Ren are looking for a solid run this weekend at Daytona (Fla.)
International Speedway as they begin their new partnership and head into
the 2007 season.

RON HORNADAY ON DAYTONA AND BEYOND:

“With Rick Ren coming over, knowing what these trucks can do, he’s going to
bring a lot to the program.”

“Everything constantly changes in NASCAR and you have to stay on top of it,
I think Rick has brought some great guys over to us. With what he’s put
together it’s already working better than last year. We are looking forward
to Daytona — I’m looking forward to the whole season.”

“We need to leave here with a good finish going into California the next
weekend.”

NO. 33 CREW CHIEF RICK REN ON DAYTONA:

“I had to do some Chasey tuning for the new aero package, this package is
going to be quite different on the front aero than what any of us are used
to. In preseason testing they were pretty darn tight in traffic.”

“This is a deal where I think who ever strikes up on a combination the
quickest is going to get a jump on the field.”
